Playgroup

Tuesdays, from 9:30am to 11:30am at our Glenbrook building (Cnr Wascoe & Raymond Streets).

Playgroup welcomes Parents and Guardians with toddlers (right through to when they start school). Relaxed, games, craft, stories, ball pit, good conversations, morning tea with great coffee – a great meeting point.

Playgroup runs weekly throughout the school term.

If helpful to you, please register your child/ren for playgroup.

All our Playgroup leaders are Child Safe accredited, hold up-to-date ‘Working with Children’ checks, and are trained in Child Safe Essentials.


Let’s Go! (Jesus Club)

Tuesday fortnights during school term, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at our Glenbrook building (Cnr Wascoe & Raymond Streets).

Let’s Go! (Jesus Club) welcomes adults who live with intellectual disabilities and who want to spend time with others where their needs can be specifically cared for and understood. Everyone matters to God.

Games, art, good food, Bible talk and activities, music, outings.

Note: those who live with disabilities are welcome always at any ministry run by Lower Mountains Anglican.

All our Let’s Go (Jesus Club) leaders are Child Safe accredited, hold up-to-date ‘Working with Children’ checks, and are trained to work with vulnerable people. Our facilities have accessible entrances and interiors, including ramps, wheelchair accessible toilets, clear signage, hearing loops and designated parking.


Craft Mornings

Every Wednesday, from 9:30am to 12pm at our Glenbrook building.


LMAP Homework Club

Every Wednesday during school term, from 4pm to 5.30pm at our Blaxland building (12 Taringha Street).

LMAP Homework Club welcomes all students in High School or Primary School to offer supervision and support for homework and assignments by trained teachers, particularly in English and Maths.

Expect two study blocks, a short devotion or testimony, and afternoon tea.

All our teachers/tutors are Child Safe accredited, hold up-to-date ‘Working with Children’ checks, and are trained in Child Safe Essentials.

No cost. Parents are welcome to stay and watch or drop and go.

First Thursday Fellowship

Thursday (on the first Thursday each month ex. January), from 10.30am to 1pm at our Blaxland building (12 Taringha Street).

First Thursday Fellowship welcomes all persons of maturing age. A time to share Jesus in faith, fellowship and friendship.

Morning Tea, Bible devotional,  visiting speaker on a helpful faith or community topic, warm fellowship and meaningful friendship, fun cognitive challenge concluding with a scrumptious lunch (Donation $4-$6) .

Transport can be arranged if needed.

Connect Women

Thursday mornings during school terms, from 9.30am to 12 noon at our Glenbrook building (Cnr Wascoe & Raymond Streets).

For Women – relaxed with morning tea, good conversation, Bible Study and prayer. There is a group for women new to reading the Bible.

There is a creche for children pre-school age children.

If helpful to you, please register your child/ren for our creche.

All our creche leaders are Child Safe accredited, hold up-to-date ‘Working with Children’ checks, and are trained in Child Safe Essentials.


LMAP Youth Group

Friday nights during school terms, from 7pm to 9pm at our Glenbrook building (Cnr Wascoe & Raymond Streets).

Young people from Year 7 to Year 12 are welcome. High energy, games, friends, food, Bible talk and Growth Group discussions, outings, and an annual camp.

If helpful to you, please register you son or daughter for Youth Group.

All our Youth Group leaders are Child Safe accredited, hold up-to-date ‘Working with Children’ checks, and are trained in Child Safe Essentials. Youth group runs a leader to youth ratio of approx 1:5. We invite parents to come in to meet the leaders as they drop-off/pick up their kids.


Growth Groups (Bible Study Groups)

There are several groups meeting in various places (homes, cafes) at various times (before work, after work, mid-week and weekends). They meet for fellowship, Bible study and prayer. There are men’s groups, women’s groups and mixed groups.
