Every 100 minutes, a child in NSW enters foster care.

Their world has changed in ways they never expected. In that moment, what they need most is safety, stability, and a community willing to stand with them.

How might we, as God’s people, be part of the answer?

On Saturday 15 August at 2pm, Lower Mountains Anglican Parish, Glenbrook in partnership with Anglicare Foster Care, is hosting “Love in Action: Foster Care & the Church”—an opportunity to listen, reflect, and consider how our church communities can stand in the gap.

Not everyone is called to foster, but we are all called to care. Whether through prayer, practical support, or walking alongside those who open their homes as foster carers, there are meaningful ways for every member of the Church to step in.

This event will be a chance to:

  • Hear real stories from foster carers and foster care ministry leaders
  • Ask questions of the Anglicare Foster Care team.
  • Explore what it might look like for your church to engage with purpose.
