Sunday Services 2017-10-22T17:35:50+00:00

Change to services for October 22 to November 12

On four Sundays beginning October 22 we will be taking some time to lift up our eyes to see God’s amazing vision for his creation, and the part that we are called to play as a part of our parish and as individuals.

On these four Sundays only we will hold three services instead of four each Sunday – 9:00am at Blaxland and 10:30am and 6:00pm at Glenbrook.

Glenbrook Anglican Church

Also known as St Peter’s Glenbrook, we previously met in a distinctive A-frame, sandstone building. In 2013, our parish committed to building a new ministry centre. Our new building, completed in October 2013, has multiple meeting areas, including the main auditorium, a lovely big kitchen, and the parish office.

Contemporary Family Service at 10am

This is a contemporary family service. There is a Kids and Youth Program, with children’s groups including creche for under 3s, a preschool group for 3 – 5 year olds, K – Year 4 (meeting for singing together and then splitting into K-2 and 3-4), Year 5-6, and Crossfire (junior bible study for Years 7 – 9). The children start our family service with us, and usually go to their programs after a few songs and the first bible reading. Our full kids program runs during school term for children up to Year 9. In the school holidays, creche and Logon Lite runs for preschool children up to Year 2. Older primary children stay with their parents. We provide a clip board, activity sheets and a small selection of pencils to occupy them for the half hour of the sermon. The activity sheets include a maze, find a word, colouring in, and an age appropriate bible activity.

Night Church at 6pm

This is our youth and student congregation, also held at our Glenbrook Centre. We sing, pray, read the Bible, hear a talk explaining God’s Word, and share dinner or supper together. Youth group also meets on Friday nights (read more about The Gathering). Corner of Wascoe St and Raymond St, Glenbrook 2773 View Larger Map
