Update

This term Youth is getting fruity and down to ground level. We’ll spend some time looking at three characteristics we should be seeking to grow in our life. In our sights are Joy, Faithfulness and Kindness, three of the fruits of the Spirit. What are they and what does it look like to have them? How do we do Kindness at school or home? Isn’t Joy just for Christmas time? What do we believe should be evident in our everyday behaviour?

After three fruit, we will be digging into the ground we stand on. That is, examining the core truths all Christians hold to. What are the things we will not be shaken from, or let fade from our minds? These are the things to ensure our feet are on. As we look at the ground our focus will be Jesus, our Lord. Why did He need to be sent by God? What is the problem He came to fix? What makes those He came to seek lost or in need of freeing? What is God up to these days, and where is all this heading?

The Gathering for years 7 to 12, running on Friday evenings from 7 to 9pm. Anyone and everyone is welcome, you just need to be able to listen to Jesus being talked about.
